How much do I need to start? +
Standard security deposit is GHS 10,000. You'll also need GHS 1,000 for your first weekly payment. No application fee.
How is my balance calculated? +
Every payment posts to a private append-only ledger. Balance = total contract amount − what you've paid + any late fees. You see this live in the driver app.
What happens if I miss a payment? +
You have a 7-day grace period after the due date. After that a late fee is posted (typically 5% of the unpaid instalment). Persistent default may trigger repossession under the contract.
Can I pay early or pay extra? +
Yes. Pay any amount, any time. Extra payments shorten your journey to ownership.
Who pays the Paystack fee? +
You do. The fee (about 0.9% on Mobile Money, 1.95% on cards) is deducted from your gross payment before it's applied to your balance. Receipt shows it clearly.
Can I leave Ghana with the vehicle? +
Not without written approval. The vehicle stays in Ghana for the duration of the lease.
When does the vehicle become mine? +
Only after the full lease amount is paid. Until then, the Investor / Company retains title. After the final payment, ownership is transferred via DVLA in your name.
